We have chosen tents from several manufacturer. All tents have been selected for these ease of pitching and features.

Some of these manufacturers may not be familular to you if you are new to camping BUT they are some of the oldest established and respected tent manufacturers.

BASECAMP Top Dutch manufacturer.  In an effort to secure better quality Cotton tents we have become sole UK stockist for Basecamp. Every new Basecamp tent  design and regular production samples are subjected to Basecamps Rain Machine which subjects the tents to 10,000 litres of water per hour.

CABANON Regarded as the finest tent manufacturer. You get top quality workmanship and materials from the French company. These will not be the cheepest tents but what you will get is top quality, tried and trusted designs.

RACLET Another long established French company,   highly regarded for the quality of there workmanship. Using top quality canvas with some unique designs. The QUICKTENT in particular is one of our favorites.

GELERT A well known name, this well established Welsh based company are   well know for these Polyester tents. BUT what is not so well known is Gelert have a Dutch subsidiary. The Dutch are well known for there love of the outdoors and camping imparticular. Therefore Gelert have for many years made and distributed Canvas or Cotton tents to meet the needs of this market, the Dutch, as with most of Europe recognise the benefits of Canvas Tents. We have obtained some 2008 models at very special prices. For 2009 Gelert are also introducing these tents into there UK catalogue.

VANGO Vango, although not manufacturing Canvas tents, introduced Polycotton tents into ther range last year. For 2009 they have increased the range. Polycotton give most of the advantages of pure Canvas and we have therefore included them on the site.
